Why my hands hurt and burn?

well my mom cant move her hands they hurt and burn and i want to know is it from stress because my dad keeps fighting with her nonstop and it got worst today when he fought with my mom again today so i want to know what could she do to cure that problem she says its really painful she cant stand the pain please help me and he is the worst dad ever if u could help i will be thankful
