Sometimes I want the big traditional church wedding, and at other times I just want to elope somewhere exotic?

A wedding should be all about you & your fiance. We had the big traditional wedding & the day goes by so fast. It's all a blur. Thinking back I feel we should have saved all that money, instead of spending it on inviting people we don't even see anymore. You can still have a beautiful wedding gown & have a destination wedding. Do you have any family or friends who could give you a bridal shower? You could invite them to a special wedding dinner to celebrate the union after the wedding. Then you could still do wedding toasts. You could toast your friends to thank them for coming & they could toast to your happiness. We had an engagement party that we threw ourselves. My family & friends weren't thoughtful enough to help me with the new, borrowed & blue stuff. I did it myself. LOL. There are options. Be creative with it. Best Wishes.
